The first concept, ThoroughBread, began in 2018 as a small bakery focused on doing things the right way. As the business grew, so did the team’s curiosity. They became obsessed with understanding how food is produced and why finding quality food they could trust was so difficult.
They realized that what is lacking in the current grocery landscape is precisely what makes their bread successful and serves as the foundation for all great food: quality ingredients, prepared with care, and free from artificial additives or preservatives. From there, they began looking beyond bread, asking how they could provide real, delicious food to people every day.
That question became the foundation for their newest venture: ThoroughFare. They are taking the same principles that have guided their bakery—fresh, made-from-scratch food, clean ingredients, and uncompromising standards—and applying them across a full market experience.
It is a bakery, café, deli, and grocery, all made by their team and held to the same high bar. There are no seed oils, artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, gums, or fillers. There are no shortcuts—just real food.
